NIGHTTIME SAFETY

For this podcast, we decided to explore a topic that has affected each of us as college women: safety on and around campus at night. We talked to students from UW–Madison, UW–Milwaukee and UW–Eau Claire to learn more about what safety concerns are prevalent across all campuses and what has been done to address these concerns. We found many similarities between the safety resources offered at each campus and the worries that students have about the effectiveness of the programs in place. While each campus is clearly making an effort to prioritize student safety, many of the resources currently available still put the bulk of the responsibility on students to be prepared for danger at all times.
