"Dreams" is from Sona's first album, "Man in the Mirror," and is sampled from Gabrielle's 1993 hit single by the same name. Sona's single received significant radio play in the United States. The Music video features various individuals, including Martin Luther King, Jr. and Nelson Mandela, who overcame serious obstacles in the pursuit of their dreams.

Sona: "I believe everybody's got a dream, everybody wants to see themselves somewhere someday. ... To get a dream, it's not like you're just going to dream and it's going to come to reality. You have to go through stuff."

This video features collaboration by Milwaukee rapper Emphasis E. The message is simple but reflects Sona's core goals — encouraging others to overcome. "Go" will appear on Sona's next album, Sona, the Voice, which is due to be released in early 2009.

Sona: "This is actually a song to encourage those that [are] hopeless. That is what I do."

“It’s the End Tonight” is a representation of one of the darker periods Sona had to overcome after breaking up with his girlfriend, who was pregnant with his child at the time. "It's the End Tonight" will also appear on Sona, the Voice.

Sona: “This woman was somebody that I loved and cherished dearly, but our split was brutal. … I have written a lot of songs in my life, but this song was one of those that I wrote with tears coming down my eyes. After I wrote the song, I remember singing the chorus over and over again, actually hoping that it could be the end that same night, but found [myself] awake the next day with a pen and pad next to me.”

“Why the Olson’s Hate Me” is a follow-up video to “It’s the End Tonight,” chronicling the devastating day of Sona’s breakup with his girlfriend, whose racist parents verbally and physically abused him.The names used in the video are real, as is much of the actors’ dialogue.

Sona: “This song is a re-enactment of my relationship with my baby mama, from the day we met to the day we separated, and how the separation actually happened. … I wanted to keep something in memory, so when my son grows up he won't have to ask me what [happened], he will be able to see for himself what happened.”
