Curb is a publication written, designed and produced by students in UW-Madison’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Started in 2002, the premise of Curb comes from the idea was the people drive through Wisconsin and never really know what’s beyond the side of the roadways, beyond the curb.
The 17th edition of Curb explores how uncertainty throughout the state of Wisconsin can push us to take risks and have courage. As reporters, we put ourselves in uncomfortable positions to bring you, our readers, stories of Wisconsinites with a lot of nerve. And as leaders, we pushed ourselves to develop new skills and to bring you a cutting-edge magazine. We hope to show you that fear is boundless, and we are only limited by it if we allow ourselves to be.
