In urban centers, murals represent community pride and history. But the small towns of Wisconsin have history to represent, too. The Walldogs, an artist group traveling around the United States, visited Plymouth, Wis., in the summer of 2011. Members of the small town of approximately 8,400 people gathered together to paint murals representing the Hub City’s unique history. Twenty-one walls were painted, plastering the tiny town with 24 complete murals telling the rich and robust stories of Plymouth’s unique manufacturing and business history.
