Mmm...breakfast

After a delicious meal and a peaceful night's sleep, wake up refreshed and head down to the beach for a walk before breakfast. Don’t let the chill scare you away; the water should still be warmer than the air. Head home, grab your bikes and ride to the quintessential Al Johnson’s for breakfast where the Swedish pancakes, lingonberries and goats munching on grass on the roof round out the Door County experience. After breakfast take your bikes to Peninsula State Park, one of Wisconsin’s most beautiful places this time of year. Read a first hand account of the mystery or even more intrigue.

To finish off your fall weekend, pack up the car and head south on Route 42 to Stone’s Throw Winery. Proprietor Russell Turco has been carefully blending California and Wisconsin-grown grapes to create his wines. You’re on the road, so you can only have a small sampling of the hard stuff, but be sure the indulge liberally on Turco’s chocolates, pasta sauces, dipping sauces and olive oils. Ahh! It’s been an eventful but relaxing weekend. It went well, and you’re starting to feel like Dreamy might be the one!

Visit Stone’s Throw Winery's Web site or read a review of the winery.
