Not-so trivial pursuit in the Land of Oz
Nothing Stevens Point has to offer arouses the community's energy more than the trivia contest held every April. Not Riverfront Rendezvous over the Fourth of July weekend; not Brews, Brats and Bands in late August on the grounds of the Point Brewery; not October's Art in the Park. Even Christmas pales in comparison and serves more as a reminder for many that the contest is now less than four months away. So the question is, who will be this year's winner?

While Wisconsin is known forits avid and dedicated deer hunting population, the state also boasts the most avid hunters in another hunting category: Waterfowl hunting. Every year the loyal duck hunting base returns to the marshes and ponds of Wisconsin, calling out to the mallard, blue-wing teal and wood ducks.
