Back to school!

Wonderful, you’ve chosen the pursuit of knowledge. After receiving your BBA from prestigious UW, you’re looking at attending an MBA school.

Marquette University in Milwaukee has a small MBA program with a good reputation. You’ll never be in a class of more than 20 students, and the school emphasizes real-world experience as an integral part of your education. Professors focus on teamwork and international experience in an exchange program with business students in Antwerp, Belgium. Kyrk Jordan, a recent graduate of their MBA school sings its praises. “Marquette isn’t like some of the more hoity-toity biz schools. I’m friends with some of my professors. They really cared about me and cared about my education.” Although he had a hard time deciding, Kyrk says, “Looking back, I wouldn’t choose anywhere else.” Visit their website.

The University of Wisconsin’s MBA program has both full-time and evening classes, allowing students to have flexible schedules. According to the July 30 issue of Bloomberg Markets magazine, UW-Madison is tied with the one and only Harvard University for graduating the most current CEOs of companies on the Standard & Poor's 500 Index. Not too shabby for a “state” school. Visit their website.

Both of these are great schools, and you’re such a great student that you’ve been accepted at both of them. Choosing will be the hardest part.
